Whether you are new to the Racine community and looking for a place to worship, returning to church after a long time away, or new to the idea of going to church at all - you are welcome at St Michael’s!

We hope you will read more about who we are on this website, but nothing can quite replace actually driving down on a Sunday morning to see what we do and how we worship. There is a little something for all ages, and when you are our guest, we’ll do our best to make your time with us comfortable and informational. We are not a perfect church. (When you find one that is, please tell us!) But we are working hard to be faithful Christians, growing in grace and love for one another.

As a church family we keep Jesus Christ as the focal point of all things. We seek to be diligent students of God’s Word - the Bible. And we desire to be honestly transformed by the power of the

Holy Spirit working in our lives. We are not a ‘come as you are, leave as you came’ kind of place. Rather, come to church as you are - full of questions, doubts, imperfections, anxieties, or whatever - and see, just see whether God doesn’t meet you where you are at and make something beautiful of it all!

Our Front Door Is Really Our Back!
While the big red doors (at the west end) facing the road are open on Sundays and other times, the main entrance is found by going around the building and is off of the main parking lot.  Once you enter, you can find the nursery (for infants to 3-year-olds) upstairs and to the right.  Preschool through fifth grade classes are downstairs – just follow the signs.  The main worship space is upstairs and to the left; where the doors open more or less in the middle of the “nave”.  Thus, if you enter after the service begins, it is kind of noticeable – but nobody really cares!  You can always go around to the west doors if you are sheepish.  For any other questions, grab an usher or a greeter or anybody else who seems to know where they are going!
